Consistent Brand Identity

Customisation in the cosmetics industry is prevalent as consumers favour a personalised beauty experience. Foundation shades are tailored to individual skin tones and skincare regimes are suited to different skin types. Brands however remain consistent, because when it comes to appearances, trust is essential to customer loyalty.

The Brief

Notino wanted gift bags of different sizes to accommodate products. Notino’s brand is clean and simple in tones of black and white, and the bags were to adhere to the carefully curated brand styling. The logo was to be placed squarely in the centre of the bag. The wavy lines depicted are fluid and flexible and symbolise evaporating aromatic essences, paying homage to their perfumed beginnings.

Notino began by selling fragrances online, initially seen as risky due to the inability to test products. However, as most consumers repurchased their favourite scent, only price became the deciding factor. Notino remained competitive and now provides a wide range of beauty products to 20 million customers worldwide. They have established themselves as one of the largest online beauty stores and are dedicated to making beauty more accessible everywhere in the world.

Our Solution

Maintaining brand consistency is one of our responsibilities when producing clients’ packaging. Following this, we created luxury bags in black, with a motif of their flowing fine white lines. We produced the bag using heavy GSM paper for a luxury feel, and the bags were reinforced with cardboard and finished with silky black satin ribbons.
